Celebi: India ban wiped out up to $500 million after Operation Sindoor
NEW DELHI, June 17, 2026, 02:33 IST Turkey’s Celebi Aviation says it lost up to $500 million in business value after India last year pulled its airport security clearance, setting a figure on what may be the biggest corporate blow linked to the India-Pakistan dispute that followed Operation Sindoor. Celebi Holding chairperson Canan Celebioglu told Bloomberg HT the company lost access to businesses developed over almost 20 years after Indian authorities acted against its local subsidiaries in May 2025.
