Airtel shares climb after Jio IPO filing puts valuation in focus

The stock was up roughly 4.8% from its June 12 finish, turning in a solid week as Indian markets stayed closed Saturday. (Dhan) Jio Platforms’ listing plan, not anything from Airtel, drove late-week trading. Reliance Industries filed for a Jio listing, and that gave investors a public-market marker to measure Airtel’s main Indian telecom arm.
