NSE:NIFTY 50 and BSE:SENSEX edge up as oil drops under $80

Mumbai, June 22, 2026, 17:42 (IST) Indian stocks closed higher on Monday. NSE:NIFTY 50 added 89.80 points, or 0.37%, at 24,102.90, while BSE:SENSEX ended up 291.17 points, or 0.38%, at 77,094.07. The move comes after losses seen on Friday. (Moneycontrol) Brent crude slipped under $80 a barrel on cheaper oil, as investors also saw some movement in U.S.-Iran talks.
